Dwight Yorke believes Jose Mourinho is yet to embrace ‘the Manchester United way’ which was epitomised by former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
United won a staggering 13 Premier League titles under Ferguson but have been forced to rebuild following his retirement in 2013.

Mourinho is the third manager to attempt to fire the club to more trophies after David Moyes and Louis van Gaal and won the EFL Cup and Europa League in his first season at Old Trafford.
But Yorke has suggested Mourinho still struggles to ‘understand’ how United are expected to play following the defensive performance at Liverpool at the weekend.
‘Sir Alex Ferguson was a different manager [to Mourinho], he understood the Manchester United way of playing,’ Yorke, who won three titles at United, told beIN SPORTS.
‘He instilled a lot of confidence in us and made us feel that we could go to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal back in the day and overturn them, not just go there and get a draw but to go there and win a game.
‘So we were pretty confident whether we were playing at home or away. We had a winning mentality to go to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal and certainly get a result.
‘So Sir Alex Ferguson’s approach to games was a winning attitude and a winning mentality and that’s how we approached it back then.’
Despite previously suggesting he would be keen on managing Paris Saint-Germain in the future, Mourinho played down the speculation at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
