Kevin De Bruyne has played down his row with David Silva during Manchester City’s win over Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

As the two teams were heading towards the tunnel for the half-time break, De Bruyne attempted to speak with the fourth official before being pulled away by Fernandinho and Silva.

Television cameras caught Silva saying ‘leave it’ to De Bruyne but the Belgian angrily shouted ‘let me talk’ three times before he turned towards the tunnel in frustration.

When asked about the confrontation after the game, De Bruyne said: ‘No, I think we had a little discussion at the time, it happens.

"Let me talk! Let me talk! Let me talk!"

‘There’s nothing wrong, after on minute then it’s over.

‘I think at home I also get into some arguments with my wife, I think it’s normal.
