Texas church gunman killed himself after chase
The man who killed at least 26 people in a Texas church died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police have told CBS.
Devin Kelley exchanged gunfire with two men who chased his car off the road after the massacre, said Sheriff Joe Tackitt.
"There was some gunfire exchanged, I believe, on the roadway also, and then (the shooter's vehicle) wrecked out," he said.
"At this time we believe that he had a self-inflicted gunshot wound."
