If there was ever such a thing as too much cheese (which of course there isn’t), this might be it: you can now get a burger that’s made entirely of cheese delivered straight to your door.

No, we’re not talking about a regular burger with melted cheese ladled over the top – we’re talking about a burger that is actually made entirely of cheese.

This is what happens when the man behind one of the world’s best bars turns his hands to restaurants

The ultimate cheese burger features nine different varieties of fromage, starting with the bun, which is made from a mature cheddar that’s topped with mozzarella ‘sesame seeds’.

Instead of your regular patty, you have a slice of creamy Camembert, while Babybel replaces the gherkins and Red Leicester make up the tomatoes.

Obviously that’s not quite enough cheese because the burger is also topped with ‘onion rings’ made from German smoked cheese, a Stilton ‘relish’ and lettuce fashioned out of Edam and American cheese.

Basically, it’s an epic cheese board in the shape of a burger and it’s meant to be big enough to feed four people (really though?).

If it sounds too good to be true, you’re probably right.

There is a downside – the ultimate cheeseburger is available for one day only.

You can make the order for the £14.99 dairy treat from hungryhouse on November 29 and it will be delivered on December 1.

But if you miss out, at least you could try making it yourself…
