Marcos Rojo reportedly led Manchester United players out of their changing room and into a brawl with Manchester City’s stars following the derby.

The fracas is understood to have been sparked after Jose Mourinho ordered City’s squad to turn their music down as they were celebrating a crucial 2-1 victory at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

It’s been claimed that Mourinho was squirted with water and hit by a flying bottle during the altercation in the tunnel before United’s squad got involved.

The Daily Mail suggest a ‘marauding bare-chested’ Rojo led his team-mates out of their dressing room after hearing that his manager had been struck on the head.

Four United stars – Ander Herrera, Marcus Rashford, Axel Tuanzebe and Luke Shaw – followed the defender out of the changing room and it’s believed Fernandinho was hit as punches were swung.

More than 20 players and staff were at each other’s throats before Michael Carrick attempted to break up the fight.

City coach Mikel Arteta suffered a cut next to his eyebrow and was pictured hiding his forehead as he arrived at training on Monday.
