Scottish gin maker gets massive boost from John Lewis

A Scottish distillery is has clinched a major deal to supply a major department store with its gin.

Eden Mill in St Andrews has secured a £150,000 deal to supply all John Lewis stores in the UK with the distillery’s 12 Gins of Christmas gift set of miniatures and Christmas Cracker.

The partnership with John Lewis will see thousands of Christmas Crackers and 12 Gins of Christmas sets available in stores and online for the festive gifting season.

Paul Miller, co-founder of Eden Mill, said: ‘In the retail world, nothing says Christmas quite like John Lewis so we’re thrilled that our Christmas gift sets are available in stores across the UK and online.

‘Our expert distillers in St Andrews have worked tirelessly over the past year to bring the ultimate Christmas-inspired gins to fruition and we’ve doubled production of the 12 Gins to meet demand.

‘The team goes above and beyond to create the best flavours for our gins, be it roasting chestnuts round a fire to taking traditional Christmas spirits and adding a touch of gin-spiration.

Eden Mill’s 12 Gins of Christmas

‘We’re expecting 12 Gins of Christmas and our Christmas Cracker to be some of our most popular products to-date and at the top of ginthusiasts’ Christmas gift lists.’

Eden Mill’s 12 Gins of Christmas and Christmas Crackers are both available now from John Lewis stores throughout the UK, JohnLewis.com, EdenMill.com and the Eden Mill distillery shop.

The 12 Gins of Christmas (£75 from John Lewis stores and online) is the result of a year’s experimentation from the entire Eden Mill team, with each miniature expression handpicked from a number of recipes trialled and created onsite at the St Andrews distillery. The set sees established Eden Mill favourites Original Gin, Love Gin, Hop Gin and Golf Gin joined by some festive flavours – including Mulled Gin, Orange and Clove Gin and After Dinner Gin.
Other flavours include the Caribbean-inspired Slackwater Gin, cardamom-infused Rai Gin, the Mediterranean Botano Gin and the so-called ‘juniper monster’, the Juniper Trio Gin.

The Eden Mill Candy Cane Christmas Cracker (£15 from John Lewis stores and online) contains a 10cl miniature gin with notes of peppermint, bilberry and hibiscus to mimic classic candy cane flavours.

Eden Mill is the number one tourist destination in Fife on TripAdvisor and the official gin of Scottish Rugby.
