Charles Barkley Says He Wants To Punch NBA Star, The Stars Response Is Awesome

Charles Barkley is not a fan of Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, and he made that clear Tuesday night.

Barkley stated that he wanted to punch Green in the face while he was offering commentary on TNT during the Warriors games against New Orleans.

As Im sure you can all imagine, the Warriors star didnt take too kindly to that. Green told the media the following after his Tuesday night win over New Orleans, transcribed by USA Today:

A lot of guys talk on TV, stand behind a microphone and a TV screen. The fact of the matter is if you feel that strongly about something, hes seen me a million times. If you feel that strongly about it, then punch me in my face when you see me. If youre not going to punch me in my face when you see me, then shut up. Its no different than somebody sitting behind a computer screen tweeting, Ill knock you out, and you never seen them in life. But hes seen me a bunch of times, and hell see me again this year. Punch me in the face when you see me, or if not no one cares what you would have done. You old and it is what is. So if you aint going to punch me when you see me, then stop talking about it. Period.

I agree 100 percent with Draymond Green here. There is nothing worse than a keyboard warrior or somebody who says something from behind the protection of a television screen. We see it all the time in the media. Everybody is tougher when theyre saying it from their computer instead of in person. Its embarrassing more than anything for those idiots.

Barkley appeared to be joking, but it really doesnt matter. Green had every right in the world to respond that way. Put up or shut up. Im not a fan of what Barkley said, but at least he did it with his face and name attached.

You have no idea how annoying it is to have to deal with idiots online that somehow found all the courage in the world. Theyre silent in public, but so tough and brave online. Ive often seen the same people in person that trash what Ive built, and they turtle in person. They run for cover so fast that its not even funny.

If youre tough enough to type it out on a computer or say it on television, then you damn sure better be tough enough to back it up in person.
