Watch This Astros Pitcher Punch Himself In The Face Repeatedly

I think its safe to say that baseball season is in full swing.

On Tuesday night, a relief pitcher got punched in the face for letting up a home run against the Yankees in the ninth inning. The Yankees ended up winning 4-0, and the Astros pitcher fully blamed himself.

So he delivered a few nice hits to the jaw on his way back to the dugout.

Lets see that from another angle.

And one more:

Uh, did Ken Giles just punch himself in the face? pic.twitter.com/Y8kbDIDVtl

This is a pretty bold move for anyone. Its an especially bold move for a full grown major league baseball player to do it. I used to know boys who would punch themselves in the face, say around elementary school. Those kids were considered “problem children” and were dealt with accordingly.

But Ken Giles? The same guy who won the World Series with the Astros last season? Its just not a great look. Show some dignity, guy.
