Pujols is the 32nd player to achieve 3,000 hits and is the ninth player to hit 600 home runs.

Hes the fourth player in four seasons to reach 3,000 hits — Rodriguez in 2015, Ichiro Suzuki in 2016, and Adrian Beltre in 2017.

The players who are closest to reaching the 3,000 mark are Miguel Cabrera (2,666), Robinson Cano (2,409), and Jose Reyes (2,100).

He is also only the second Dominican born MLB player to reach 3,000 hits, the first being Beltre.
