Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17, was arrested and charged after the murders of nine students and one substitute teacher on Friday at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas. Pagourtzis reportedly told authorities, after admitting to the shootings and placing explosive devices around the school, that he had intentionally targeted students he didnt like.

According to USA Today, one officer wrote in an affidavit filed at the Galveston County Court that Pagourtzis had been clear about who he intended to shoot — and who he didnt. “He did not shoot students he did like so he could have his story told.”
