If youve ever wanted to create your very own Krispy Kreme doughnut, nows your chance – as long as youre happy to travel to Birmingham.

Selfridges in central Birmingham has just opened a new DIY station, where doughnut lovers can come to invent their own doughnuts.

Obviously, you wont actually be baking any doughnuts, just choosing the extra bits.

Heres how it works.

Once you get to the station, you can choose between a jam, kreme or chocolate filled doughnut.

Then, you go around the side to cover it with icing or more chocolate.

Finally, theres a whole range of toppings to cover it with.

And then, of course, all you need to do is stuff your face.

For doughnut lovers everywhere, this is very exciting – especially as theres so many concoctions to come up with, and you can use Krispy Kremes signature doughnuts for inspiration.

For example, mix the Cookie Dream – an American style ring doughnut decorated with cookie cream frosting and covered in cookies – with the Nutty Chocolatta – a Nutella hazelnut spread doughnut dipped in a chocolate flavour coating and topped with white chocolate flavour and hazelnuts.

Sure, itll be sickly, but a hazelnut, white chocolate, cookie and cookie cream doughnut sounds glorious.

If you arent a chocolate lover there are a bunch of other combos to try.
