It looks like KFCs Double Down burger is returning to menus in the UK and its getting people on Twitter very excited.

KFCs official Twitter account has been hinting that the burger is going to make a return, by finding old Twitter posts written last year, and replying with a date – 2 July 2018.

Obviously, were taking from this that the burger will be re-released next Monday.

The Double Down burger was removed from menus in the UK last November, as it was a limited edition product only available for six weeks, available for £4.79 on its own or £5.79 with fries and a drink.

The burger contains bacon, melted cheese and BBQ sauce, sandwiched between two Original Recipe chicken fillets instead of burger buns.

Before actually confirming whether the news was true, the KFC account teased a lot of people.

Happy belated Birthday Tom. Hope you got your Double Down, if not. . . 02.07.18 ?
