Broward County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the younger brother of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter Nikolas Cruz for trespassing on the school grounds, according to police.

Zachary Cruz, 18, was allegedly spotted on security footage skateboarding around the school campus in Parkland, Fla., Monday afternoon, and he now faces charges of trespassing. Authorities told him to stay off school property, but he made it past several locked doors and gates, according to news reports.

The teen told police he visited the school to “reflect on the school shooting and soak it in,” local ABC affiliate reported.

Police took the younger Cruz into custody, holding him for a time on $25 bail in the same jail as his brother, who has been denied bail while facing multiple counts of murder for killing 17 people and injuring 17 others.

Zachary was committed to a mental facility several days after the Feb. 14 shooting, and told police that though he didn’t want to harm himself, he also didn’t want to live. “I don’t want to be alive. I don’t want to deal with this stuff,” Zachary said, according to the Palm Beach Post. He reportedly told police he “doesn’t understand why his brother would have done this” and that “it’s not a realistic option to kill people.”
