Here Are The Gambling Odds For The U.S. Open In The Wake Of The Masters

The first major tournament of the season is officially over and the golfing world has already turned their attention to the next one.

Just hours after Patrick Reed slipped on his green jacket after winning the Masters, the opening odds for the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills went live. (RELATED: Patrick Reed Holds On To Become The Masters Champion)

Former U.S. Open champions Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson are already leading the pack with 10/1 odds to take home the trophy, followed by several other tour favorites including Justin Thomas, Jason Day and Rickie Fowler.

McIlroy captured his first major victory when he won the U.S. Open at Congressional Golf Club in 2011. A few years later, Spieth won the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay of Johnson, who returned to the major a year later to win at Oakmont.
