Rob Gronkowski Reveals If Hell Return To The Patriots Or Retire
New England Patriots superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski will return for the 2018 season.
Gronk announced the news late Tuesday on Instagram with a photo of himself in his Patriots uniform flexing. He captioned the photo, “I met with coach today and informed him I will be back for the 2018 season with the Pats. I have been working out, staying in shape and feel great. Looking forward to another championship run. #bandsamakeherdance.”
Well, I guess that puts to rest all the rumors that Gronk was seriously considering stepping away from football or wanted to be traded.
Gronk and Brady both returning to the Patriots pretty much guarantees that theyll be heavy favorites to return to the Super Bowl and win the whole thing. However, the question still must be asked how long Gronk still wants to play.
He is back for the upcoming season, but how much longer after that? Its not exactly a secret that he has plenty of opportunities elsewhere. I have a strong feeling we might get the exact same set of events next year, where Gronk isnt overly quick to commit to keep playing. Of course, none of that matters right now. All that matters is the Patriots two best players are returning for another year.
