There was a lot of speculation that the team would be the first to hire a female head coach and pull the trigger on Becky Hammon. But that clearly didnt end up being what happened. (RELATED: DEBATE: CAN WOMEN COACH IN MENS PRO SPORTS? [VIDEO])

What does this mean for Hammon? Im not sure, but I dont think she has anything to worry about. She can go back to being an assistant for the San Antonio Spurs, gain another year of coaching experience with Gregg Popovich and take another shot at a head coaching job next season.

Either way, I am now fully convinced that its only a matter of time before we see Hammon as a head coach in the NBA.
