The pair are in Cheshire for their very first joint official engagement together.

Having been a Duchess for just over three weeks, Meghan is certainly being thrown into the deep end with her duties.

Its a pivotal moment in Meghans fast-track journey to becoming a fully-fledged Duchess, given it is the first time she is alone with her husband Prince Harrys grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

But it doesnt stop there – Meghan was also been invited for a sleepover on board the Queens own person train – a feat even Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton have not yet achieved.

While Harry and William might have traveled on the train, its understood they have never been on there with their grandmother and nor has Kate.

Meghans highly anticipated trip on the Royal Train – which is he Queens private train which ferries her from A to Z for long distance journeys – took place on Wednesday overnight into Thursday.

They will then officially open Storyhouse, Hunter Street, Chester.

With the Queens comfort of utmost importance, the train operator even ensures the train doesnt go over any bumps in the track around 7.30am, to avoid the Queens bath water splashing out.

The Royal Train is understood to have costed £900,000 to run from 2016 to 2017. It was used 14 times in a 12 month period and is only available to the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess Of Cornwall.
