Wow, Ikea bags really do it all.

You can use them for, well, actual Ikea shopping, for groceries, as a makeshift storage device for when youre moving house. You can turn them into shoes, chokers, thongs, and hats.

And it turns out they make the perfect tool for any bride desperately trying to urinate without getting pee on her fancy wedding dress.

One woman has shared how she made use of an Ikea Frakta bag on her wedding day by cutting a hole in the bottom and using the bag to gather up her gown, using the handles as shoulder straps so she could go to the toilet without having to hold her dress aloft by hand.

Well, I got married a few weeks ago (in a mermaid wedding dress) and I was really worried about going to the bathroom and not being able to … handle myself, she wrote on Facebook. Someone helping or watching me going to the bathroom on my wedding day? Not being able to have free hands to use the toilet paper? Or even worse if my period decides to show? NO WAY!

Some stuff like this bridal bathroom helper exists but are expensive just because it is wedding related.

My bridal bathroom helper hack costs about 0.80 euro and I did it the day before my wedding. It took only 3 minutes. What I like best is its almost free and allows me to make my life easier on my wedding day. So here is the hack.

Its a genius trick, and has the added benefit of looking like an edgy take on streetwear. Hey, if Balenciaga can make the Frakta bag fashion-y, surely turning it into a bucket worn around your waist will do the trick.

The hack is essentially a cheaper version of buying a Bridal Buddy, which is a little skirt you wear under your dress that can be lifted up to gather your gown.

Youve probably got an old Ikea bag lying around the house or stuffed into a kitchen drawer, so the trick could even be free. Hooray.

There is one tiny issue, though, and thats having your cut up Ikea bag to hand the minute the bride needs to wee.

Perhaps its worth putting one bridesmaid on Ikea duty, or contacting the venue to hang Ikea bags in every toilet cubicle. Elegant, huh?
