Did Democrats Advocate For An FBI Investigation Of Thomas As Much As They Did For Kavanaugh?
Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have repeatedly been pressing for an FBI investigation over allegations of sexual assault brought forth by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, but their tone has changed since the confirmation of Justice Clarence Thomas.
In this video, The Daily Caller News Foundation highlights Democrats calling for an FBI investigation alongside then-Delaware Democratic Sen. Joe Bidens opinions on the issue of a probe when it came to Professor Anita Hills accusations of sexual harassment against Thomas.
“The next person that refers to an FBI report as being worth anything obviously doesnt understand anything,” Biden said in 1991 during Thomass hearing.
Kavanaugh has continued to deny any allegations of sexual misconduct, and the White House gave the FBI permission Monday to interview anyone necessary in the matter.
