Everybody knows that nothing goes together quite as well as chocolate and wine.

You can pair the two for a fancy party, a romantic evening in, or even to enjoy while crying along to Bridget Jones singing ‘All By Myself’ (don’t worry, we’ve all been there).

Now, you can literally pair the two – as Aldi is going to be releasing a chocolate wine that’s bound to get anyone with a sweet tooth tipsy.

The wine we’re talking about? The Rubis Chocolate Non Vintage Wine.

According to Aldi, the wine has flavours of velvety, smooth dark chocolate, which are complemented by rich, puckering fruit and hints of dried fig.

Now, this wine is nothing new – but we were excited to find out Aldi is selling it on the cheap. While the wine usually costs around £13, Aldi will be flogging it for just £9.99.

And just to prove how special this sweet dessert wine really is – it actually picked up a ‘Silver Outstanding’ award at the International Wine & Spirit Competition back in 2015.

So yeah, you can have an award-winning chocolate wine in your cupboards for under a tenner.

Currently, the chocolate wine is expected to be hitting Aldi’s shelves on 14 November. But if you’re desperate to try, you can find it now on Amazon at its original price.
