KFC bath bomb lets you soak in the soothing scent of fried chicken
If you were incredibly enthusiastic about the prospect of bath salts that smell like pizza and coriander, you’ll likely also be keen on this new bath bomb. Because it’s equally horrifying.
KFC has teamed up with Village Vanguard – yep, the same brand behind soup baths – to create their very own KFC bath bomb.
Yes, this indeed a bath bomb that will make your tub smell like fried chicken, complete with KFC’s blend of 11 herbs and spices (that herb and spice combo is why KFC only follows 11 very special people on Twitter, FYI).
It’s shaped like a drumstick, and its official name is ‘Chicken smell bathing powder’. Lovely.
Now for the bad news. If you are hopelessly in love with KFC bath bombs, you’re out of luck – you can’t actually buy them.
Instead you’ll need to be one of the lucky 100 people chosen by lottery each day between 1 November to 15 November. You’ll also need to live in Japan.
If you do happen to live in Japan with a yet-to-be-quenched thirst for chicken scented baths, you can enter to win a KFC bath bomb by retweeting the KFC tweet below.
Or you can always recreate the effect by swirling a KFC bucket around your tub and sprinkling in some salt. Same thing.
