Celtic’s 4-0 win over St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership saw the Hoops break a 100-year British domestic unbeaten record.
Led by Brendan Rodgers, victory marked a 63rd unbeaten game for the Scottish champions – surpassing the record set by Willie Maley’s Celtic side between 1915 and 1917.
Celtic began their unbeaten record in May 2016 with a 7-0 thrashing of Motherwell, before sealing a memorable treble in the form of the Betfred Cup, Scottish Cup and Premiership title, the following season.
