What Meghan Markle wore for her Nottingham visit
Meghan Markle may be the new queen of coats – as well as being seriously excellent at hair, makeup, and all other fashion-related decisions.
After the white coat Meghan wore to announce her engagement sold out online, Meghan showed up to her first official royal appearance with Prince Harry, to Nottingham, wearing another truly great outerwear option.
This time around, Meghan’s gone for a maxi-length navy, double-breasted coat rather than pristine white.
Yet again it’s from a Canadian brand – Mackage. The coat Meghan wore is the Elodie Navy Wool Coat from Mackage, which costs $790 (£585).
Surprise, surprise, it’s already sold out – just like the £450 Line the Label coat she wore earlier this week, which sold out speedily after Meghan made her appearance.
Meghan kept her coat buttoned up as she greeted the crowds (who can blame her? It’s freezing), so we can’t see the full details of her outfit, but it looks like she’s wearing a cream midi skirt, a cosy rollneck, and over-the-knee boots.
The midi skirt is from Joseph, and costs £595. Shockingly, it is not yet sold out. Move quickly.
A lack of gloves meant her ring was in view, and Meghan also carried a handbag – it’s the Nano Tote from Strathberry in burgundy, navy, and vanilla, which costs £295. Naturally that’s already sold out too.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, Meghan’s boots are the Violet over-the-knee boots from Kurt Geiger, costing £229.
