NFL Network Executive Deletes Twitter Account Filled with ‘Years’ Worth’ of Porn-Related Content

NFL Media Vice President and Executive Editor David Eaton first cleaned, then outright deleted, his Twitter account which was full of interaction with porn stars and prostitutes.
Eaton, a married father of three, started by deleting an enormous backlog of communication with pornographic actors and outright hookers, before apparently deciding to nuke the @davidteaton account altogether. It was probably for the best; Eaton’s interactions ranged from banal to brothel with a host of professional sex workers — including jokes about “double fisting” a chicken, or responding to a bent-over cleavage shot on office furniture with “lucky desk.” When @GotHookerProbs lamented one of her clients’ had seven genital piercings, Eaton responded with “Yikes!”
Former employees told Deadspin that Eaton’s Twitter account was an “ongoing subject of discussion,” but NFL Media spokespeople have thus far declined to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Roger Goodell flounders for a response to the ever-increasing list of NFL troubles. He said that the network’s sexual misconduct woes were “a matter of litigation, and that they “take that very seriously.” Besides this Eaton embarrassment, Goodell has been forced to address the alleged wrongful termination of Jamie Cantor, who recently filed a suit with details of “ongoing and continuing sexual harassment” by people including Marshall Faulk, Donovan McNabb, Heath Evans and Warren Sapp. Goodell said:
Those issues are important to us, to make sure that all of our employees, whether at the network, the league office or clubs, are working in a safe, comfortable environment, and any time that doesn’t exist, we’re going to make sure we deal with that very quickly and very seriously.
Of course, how seriously remains to be seen.
