Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind dropped for Manchester United’s clash with Leicester City
Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind have been dropped for Manchester United‘s clash with Leicester City on Saturday.
The Italy international was slammed by United fans for his performance in the 2-1 defeat to Bristol City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.
Blind, who has only made four Premier League appearances this season, also struggled in the loss against the Championship club at Ashton Gate.
According to the Manchester Evening News, both Blind and Darmian were not with United’s squad as they made their way to Leicester on Friday evening.

Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick were ruled out before the match and have also not travelled to Leicester.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, meanwhile, is part of Mourinho’s squad after being dropped for all but two of United’s last 10 fixtures.
The Armenia international was given a run out in the second half against Bristol City and may keep his place on the bench against Leicester City.
During his press conference on Friday, Mourinho refused to criticise his players for their defeat to Bristol City.
‘I could be critical with my players but they did enough to win, they lost when they were the only team people believed could win,’ he said.
‘So we move on and we move on quickly because we have another match.’
