Who’s out?
Man Utd absentees
Chris Smalling
Antonio Valencia
Michael Carrick
Eric Bailly
Marouane Fellaini
Chris Smalling is the latest player to have been on the treatment table. The centre-back picked up a knock in the late stages of Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Leicester, which contributed to them conceding a late goal. The England international is not expected to be ready for Tuesday’s game.
Antonio Valencia missed the game with the Foxes and almost certainly won’t return against Burnley.
Marouane Fellaini has a knee problem which meant he missed out against Leicester while Michael Carrick and Eric Bailly have ongoing problems.
Who’s doubtful?
Doubtful
Matteo Darmian
With Smalling, Valencia and Bailly all absent already, Mourinho has another defensive concern in the shape of Matteo Darmian. The Italian full-back also missed the game against Leicester and is not a certainty to be ready for Burnley.

What will Mourinho do?
Marcos Rojo looks likely to slip in alongisde Phil Jones at centre-back while Victor Lindelof, as he did against Leicester, is likely to play at right-back. Luke Shaw or Ashley Young will play at left-back.
In attack, Mourinho could be tempted to deploy Zlatan Ibrahimovic who played 68 minutes against Bristol City in the League Cup. However he has all his options at his disposal.
MORE: Marouane Fellaini will not sign a new contract at Manchester United
