Fried eggs can be a little boring.
Poached eggs offer a wonderful burst of life if you get the yolk right and hard-boiled can be a welcome surprise to any curry…but fried eggs are just, well, fried eggs.
But not when they’re cooked by one artist.
The Eggs-hibit is an Instagram account dedicated to eggquisite frying pan art which will make even the most perfectly cooked plate of eggs look miserable in comparison.
As well as cutting the egg white in all kinds of intricate shapes, they’ve also been using the yolk in different ways to add a splash of colour to monochrome scenes.
Some designs are basic but effective
While others are, quite simply, works of art
Basically, you just need a steady hand
And a well-behaved yolk
And you too could be eating the moon
Who said playing with your food was a bad idea?
Although how warm it is when you’re done messing around is anyone’s guess
