Manchester City line up stunning £50million transfer move for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire
Manchester City are lining up an incredible £50million move for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire, according to reports.
Maguire, 24, has emerged as the latest centre-back target for Pep Guardiola after impressing for the Foxes following his £17million summer move from Hull City.
Premier League leaders City have been linked with West Brom’s Jonny Evans, Real Sociedad’s Inigo Martinez and Lyon’s Mouctar Diakhaby this month but Guardiola has been impressed by Maguire.

The Sun say he is willing to fork out around £50m to bring the England international to the Etihad. Guardiola is looking for a defender who will be eligible to play in the Champions League – City face Basel in the last 16 round next month.
While it is claimed Maguire would be more than willing to make a move to City, Leicester will be reluctant to sell, although an offer of £50m may soften their stance.

City fell behind after Ashley Barnes’ opener but goals from Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva wrapped up the comfortable win after the break.
‘Both goals were amazing – the finishing, and the assists,’ Guardiola said of Aguero’s brace.
‘The first one was clever and quick, and the second one was a magnificent assist, then the dribbling and good finishing.
‘I have to say is an honour to have Sergio under my command.
