Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson.

Nelson, 18, regarded as the shining light of Arsenal’s academy, has made 11 first-team appearances for the Gunners but is yet to play in the Premier League under Arsene Wenger.

The England Under-19 starlet burst onto the scene ahead of the 2017/18 campaign in pre-season and it appears his impressive early performances have alerted Europe’s elite.

According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal could be set to lose Nelson when his contract expires next year.

There has been little progress in getting a new deal signed and it’s claimed Champions League giants Madrid and PSG are plotting a move.

It adds to the list of woes for Wenger, with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Jack Wilshere all out of contract at the end of the season.

Sanchez is set to complete a move to Manchester United before the January transfer window closes, while Ozil will leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.

Wilshere, meanwhile, is certain he will agree to a new deal at the Emirates.

‘I have spoken to the boss and he says he will speak to me – I’m sure it will get done,’ the England midfielder claimed last month.
