The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team is on a two game winning streak, and it has many asking if we’re tournament bound.

The Badgers now stand at 13-16 after beating our little brother Minnesota last night, and that comes only days after upsetting Purdue. We’ve still got to win out and win the Big Ten tournament if we want to secure a spot in the tournament, but things are looking up.

Our team is cruising right now, and it all started when Frank Kaminsky returned to campus to be honored.

Home is not a place…it’s a feeling.

It felt great to have @FSKPart3 back home at the Kohl Center. Now, his No. 44 will forever live here. #OnWisconsinpic.twitter.com/z82Sq5atnN

Look, I understand that running the tables is a tall task, and not likely to happen. All I’m saying is that things are looking up. You’ll see me get real excited if we managed to also upset MSU. That could signal that my guys have finally put it all together at the right time. Imagine how pissed people will be if Wisconsin sneaks into the tournament barely above .500. It’ll be glorious.

Of course, nothing is ever completely good. It was previously floated that my success with women was inversely tied to Wisconsin’s basketball success. Only one of us could be a winner, otherwise it just wouldn’t be fair for the universe. I’m not the type to brag, but things haven’t been to bad the past few months. Unfortunately, I hit a minor rough patch with the ladies in the past week, and the Badgers went 2-0. I’m not a scientist, but there might be something there.

This leads me to my most important point. The Badgers need to win every single game over the course of the next few weeks. Does this mean I’m obligated to stay away from bars, parties and anywhere where socializing with the opposite sex might happen? Is this a sacrifice I’m willing to make in order to get a shot at March Madness?

I honestly don’t know, but I’m not willing to do anything that might derail my Badgers. I will eat this bullet for my people, my team and my school. You can thank me on selection Sunday.
