Eagles coach Adam Simpson has flown back to Perth from Melbourne to be with his sick daughter, ahead of this afternoon's AFL game against the Western Bulldogs.
His youngest child became ill over the weekend and last night was admitted to hospital in Perth.
Simpson has four children, three girls and a boy.
West Coast forwards coach Jaymie Graham will coach the team in its match against the Bulldogs at Docklands Stadium.
Graham has been an assistant coach at the club since 2014 and played 37 games for the team between 2005 and 2008.
West Coast has made a statement on its Facebook page saying its thoughts were with the Simpson family.
