Vogue Arabias first plus size cover features Ashley Graham and Paloma Elessor
Vogue Arabia hasnt been around for the longest time.
Since the Middle Eastern version of the fashion bible had its first cover shoot with Gigi Hadid in 2017, all the models that followed were similarly sized.
Ashley Graham and rising star Paloma Elesser have now covered the July/August issue of the esteemed magazine, making them the first plus-size models to grace the front page of the Arab edition.
As part of its Body Revolution issue, the magazine said its celebrating all body shapes and finding summer looks for all sizes.
On the cover, both models look stunning in flashy sequin dresses, lounging by the pool, with the wet hair look.
While Paloma is chilling in the pool in a short-sleeved, bateau-neck dress, Ashley is propped behind her in a form-fitting piece, topped with a matching silver blazer.
As well as the twin shoot, the models have their own individual covers where they serve some serious looks.

My mother told me that when I walked into a room, I would greet every single person — even at three years old, says Ashley in her interview.
It was more of an emotion that I would give people, and it would leave them feeling good about who they are, she adds.
I think thats what Im doing today: letting women know that they are worthy, that they are beautiful, and that they can be happy with who they are in their skin.
Paloma had a similar message and talks about the struggles of self-acceptance.
The feelings that I have about my body today arent very different from the way I felt about it in first grade, she says.
What has changed is the way I navigate those feelings.
Way to go Vogue Arabia. More body diversity like this, please.
