New Looks £7 dupe of this watermelon bag is nicer than the £160 original
Were suckers for a dupe – especially when it comes at a fraction of the price and actually looks better than the original.
Which is why we love New Looks latest release – a watermelon bag which looks as though it was modelled off of Sensi Studios watermelon toquilla-straw clutch.
The original clutch costs £160, and is made using toquilla-straw.
While that price tag might seem mighty hefty for a fruit-themed bag, its so expensive because its 100% handmade.
The clutch features a top zip-fastening closure, a main compartment and red twill lining and is handcrafted by artisans. Finally, the red, green and cream bag is embellished with black beads to look like watermelon seeds.
While the clutch is super cute, we wouldnt want to pay nearly £200 for a watermelon bag.
What we would be happy to spend, however, is £7 – and New Look has our backs.

Okay, so New Looks version isnt an exact dupe but we think its just as cute. It features a sequin detail, and gold chain shoulder straps.
Its also a little smaller, more chic and potentially, more versatile; something that could be paired with a pair of jeans or for a night on the town.
And hey, considering it costs under a tenner, you cant really go wrong, can you?
