Pret A Manger adds avocado on toast and 20 other treats to its menu
Pret is giving vegan, vegetarian and meat-eating millennials all the things they want. The retailer is adding 21 delicious new treats to its menu and they all involve a lot of avocados.
As well as smashed avocado on toast, theres also new gluten-free bread options and chilli salt sprinkled all over the breakfast wraps, puddings, salads, and sandwiches.
In the biggest shake-up to its menu in 33 years, the high street favourite has gone all out and wants to target all sorts of eaters.
With a rise in the popularity of vegan and flexitarian diets, Pret has been working to create plant-based and vegetarian alternatives to its current favourites.
From next week, customers will find eight new vegan and five new vegetarian options out of the total of 21 new products, which is pretty impressive for a sandwich chain.
And theyre focusing on the theme of colour, adding exotic and summer fruits to the meals to change things up.
