Oceania reveals new Sirena itineraries after Cuba ban
Oceania has announced plans for how it will redeploy Sirena after the US government banned all visits to Cuba.
Sirena, which has just returned to service following a major refurbishment, had originally been scheduled to spend winter 2020 and spring 2021 sailing itineraries to Cuba.
Oceania has now revealed that the 684-passenger ship will extend its 2020 European sailing season and then spend the following winter and spring operating itineraries in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.
The nine new Sirena Exotic Collection itineraries, departing from November 2020 to April 2021, will range from 10 to 24 days and offer destinations such as Israel, Egypt, Turkey, the Arabian peninsula, India, Myanmar and Indonesia.
Bob Binder, chief executive at Oceania Cruises, said: “Weve thoughtfully crafted these immersive and off-the-beaten-path explorations to some of the hardest-to-reach destinations in the world to satiate our guests appetites for new and unusual travel experiences.”
The programme starts on 9 November 2020 with a 12-day voyage from Jerusalem to Istanbul, followed by a 20-day trip from Istanbul to Dubai before heading further east to India and south-east Asia.Read More – Source
