ASOS will now let you try before you buy, so say goodbye to waiting on refunds
ASOS is now offering try before you buy. We repeat: ASOS IS NOW OFFERING TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.
This is not a drill, people.
The popular fashion retailer has just launched a service where customers can now see what looks good on them without having to purchase it first.
The news comes just after we recently announced that ASOS would be doing same day delivery – but what’s same day delivery when the clothes you’re paying for don’t actually fit?
The concept is simple. All you need to do is download the ASOS shopping app on your phone, be at least 18 years of age and fill in all the details – your email, mobile number and UK residential address and payment info.
Then, all you need to do is add whatever you like from the website to the basket, check out without paying, and put on a fashion show at home.
Then, send back whatever you don’t like within 30 days of ordering, and you’ll be charged for everything you keep – and payment has to be received within 30 days, which will be done through Klarna Pay Later.
Obviously, you’ll have to ensure the clothes are in pristine condition when sending them back – which means you definitely should not wear something out of the house if you don’t intend on paying for it.
It’s a cruel world, we know.
Nicola Thompson, Global Trading Director at ASOS, said the concept came in hopes of improving the ASOS experience for their ‘15.4 million customers around the world.’
However, this service is only available for people in the UK – which makes a nice change from having to wait around for US deals to make their way overseas.

Obviously, we’ll be downloading the app ASAP – and will be recommending our family members to do so also.
Maybe that way we can finally put an end to having to put a fake smile on at Christmas when we receive a jumper we really don’t like.
