Chelsea fans mock Alvaro Morata and tell him to get on the weights
Chelsea fans have ridiculed Alvaro Morata for his brief cameo against Southampton, saying he needs to improve his physicality if he wants to match up to Didier Drogba.
The Spanish striker revealed this week that he requested a video of Drogba’s highlights at Chelsea when he first joined the club, explaining: ‘I put it on at home so I improve with Didier.’
But one of the Ivorian’s greatest strengths was his, well, strength – but Morata showed little of that against the Saints as he was bullied off the ball not once but twice.
The first time he was sent flying off the pitch by Jack Stephens, and then Nathan Redmond sent him tumbling with a tame shoulder barge.
It left plenty of Chelsea fans saying the exact same thing…

Morata’s too feeble one of the reasons y I don’t fancy him .

If Nathan Redmond can send Morata flying like that then anyone can. Get used to seeing him flapping about on the floor every week, it won't change.

Southampton literally using morata as a step ladder in this game, no foul calls.
Is the specky being introduced into soccer now?

Morata is such a frustrating player. If that's Diego Costa he bodies that guy out the way. Morata always going to ground

Conte wants Morata to have power & dominance like Drogba. Michy has that. The only differences are his attacking positioning & quickness. #CFC

One day Morata will be stronger than.. Nathan Redmond? Sake.

Morata needs to grow a pair. We deeply miss a striker that can bully a pair of centre backs.

Morata is good but this man thinks he’s still playing in Spain. Where you get a foul every time you hit the ground.
