A New Alex Rodriguez Series Is Coming To ESPN – Heres What We Know
Baseball legend Alex Rodriguez is busy running around New York City with his superstar girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, but it looks like his life is about to get even more public.
According to ESPN, A-Rod will serve as both the executive producer and host for a four part series covering athletes dealing with hardship and career obstacles. Hell conduct “in-depth interviews” with both current and former athletes and “use his personal experiences” to draw more compelling stories out of each athlete. The series will be called “Pivot With Alex Rodriguez” and is due out sometime this year.
“ESPNs track record of compelling, original features makes it the natural partner for Pivot,” Alex Rodriguez said in a statement for ESPN. “Change can be good, and even necessary, for athletes facing their most difficult moments. However, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to turn the lens inward while living life in the public arena. Im looking forward to uncovering personal stories the world deserves to hear, while sharing the lessons Ive learned—sometimes through the hard way.”
