Moto3 rider performs amazing ‘Evel Knievel’ jump to avoid French Grand Prix crash
Czech Moto3 rider Jakub Kornfeil has escaped crashing into the bike of one of his rivals with a "crazy" jump at the French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
Enea Bastiannini was placed fourth heading into the final corner of the penultimate lap when his bike slid out of control on the bend, sending the Italian off the tarmac and into the gravel.

Kornfeil was directly behind Bastiannini at the time and he rode directly into the path of the sliding bike, unable to shift his vehicle out of the way.
He rode over the top of Bastiannini's bike before getting airborne as he performed a spectacular 'bunny hop'-style jump to land on the gravel in an upright position before returning to the race course.
"The first thing I was thinking of was to open the gas and stand up on the pegs," said Kornfeil, who eventually finished sixth.
"The landing was so heavy, my rear suspension went down to its maximum."
Television commentator Matthew Birt was staggered by Kornfeil's display, joking he performed a "10 out of 10" landing.
"Evel Knievel has got nothing on Jakub Kornfeil, I'll tell you that," Birt said.
Kornfeil, who later described his effort as "crazy" on social media, admitted the final lap of the race was uncomfortable following his landing.
"The last lap was really painful so (I) could not wait to stretch my body after the race," Kornfeil said.
Albert Arenas won the race, with Kornfeil astonishingly finishing less than six seconds behind the Spaniard despite the earlier drama.
